Paradip College, Paradip came into existence in 1975. The college, at present, imparts teaching in +3 Arts, Science & Commerce at Degree Stage with Hons in English, Oriya, Political Science, History, Economics, Education, Sociology, Philosophy, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany & Zoology. Besides, the college has teaching facilities +2 Arts, Science and Commerce.

The college has also a fully computerized library which houses 20,140 books. In addition to this the college contributes for 16 No. of Journals of National & State level and many periodicals.

The infrastructure of the college includes 3 Galleries, 3 Halls, 7 Departmental Rooms, 7 Laboratories, Five class rooms, One Conference Hall, One Administrative Block, Staff Common Room, Boys Common Room, Girls Common Room, Students Union Room, N.C.C Room, Nss Room, YRC Un-Health Care Centre-Cum-First Aid Centre, Students Grievance Cell, Central Library, Reading Room, Reference Section, Canteen, Old Boys Association Room etc. 3 Vehicle Sheds etc.The college has a 50 beded boys’ Hostel outside the campus. Besides College has a Study Centre of IGNOU running inside the campus.
